Access and account

DYS is an institutionally licensed app. Access is provisioned by the university you belong to. You sign in only with the credentials your university issues, and you are responsible for keeping your account secure.

Pricing

The app is free for students and academicians. DYS has no ads, no subscription and no in-app purchases. The system is licensed to the university on an institutional basis.

Proper use

You may use the attendance system only to sign your own presence. The following are prohibited:

• Signing attendance for someone else, or having someone sign for you
• Spoofing location or the device to give a false signature
• Sharing a QR code or unique code without authorization
• Tampering with the system to bypass its security

Accuracy of attendance records

Attendance you sign is written to the university's official record of presence. Objections about records are handled through the relevant course or university office.

Limitation of liability

DYS is provided as is. Problems with your device camera, location service or network connection may affect signing. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages.
